All they care about is selling you their e-book for some astronomical amount of money! Once they do that, their job is done. They could care less whether or not you know how to market their opportunity. They could care less whether or not you take the time to read their “million page” e-book. The only thing they care about is taking your money! Congratulations…you have just successfully been scammed. That is the TRUE meaning behind the phrase “get rich quick.” You don’t get rich quick, THEY DO!
Sounds familiar doesn’t it? Of course it does. This sort of thing happens every day to millions of unsuspecting people trying to make a living for themselves. To be honest, it’s quite the lucrative business practice. If I knew how to be a cold hearted, money hungry, ignorant scam artist the I’D dream up some masterful plan to scam innocent people. But frankly, that’s just now me. I’d rather work hard, smart, and honest.
So please, don’t get sucked in by another scam artist. Stop wasting your time and money on e-books that are so lengthy and confusing that you have to keep reading them over and over again just to get the picture. Stop getting left out in the cold and start a REAL Home Business!
A real Home Business requires several things:

How to start a home business in Sims 2 open for business?I've read in several places that to start a home business in the sims 2 you have to either click on a phone or computer and choose the business option. The problem is…there is no business tab when i click on either of these items. There's a "real estate" tab, but not business….
Anybody know why? and how i can start the home business?

Looking at some of the answers that you have received, I believe the direction they have been giving you is more like working for another party from home rather than a home business.
As to what home businesses you can do, well it depends on a few factors. Let me start by highlighting that you have to do a SWOT analysis of yourself first before even contemplating starting a home business (SWOT – Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat analysis). The reason you should do this is to determine if this is the right time to start a business. I did this when I started mine. Take a piece of paper and list out your stregths and weaknesses. Check around to see what opportunities you have as well as what threats would face you should you decide to enter the business.
I suggest that after you list out your strengths, find a partner/s who can complement you and cover your weaknesses. Find out from your strengths and passions/hobbies what is a workable business (i.e. a small home bakery if you are good at baking or freelance website designing if you are good Dreamweaver etc.) and than start doing a business plan.
When you do your business plan, it is important to note especially your cashflow. Always make sure you have a positive cashflow else you will encounter huge problems later on.
There are lots of other factors such as legalities, environment and abilities but I will assume that you will do your homework.
As to some ideas, will not knowing what your strengths are i'll just shoot a couple.
1) Home Bakery
2) Freelance design
3) Internet Trading
4) Doll Making (Don't laugh, US$29 Bil Industry)

I have found that as far as housework goes, the best thing to do is schedule that in the morning. First thing I do is put the coffee on, and while it's brewing I quickly dust the living room and run the vacuum through, then I tidy the kitchen. I sneak the bathroom in whenever I have a spare 15 minutes or so, but if I don't do it one day, it's not the end of the world.
I find that sometimes when I just need a little break from work, I actually enjoy throwing a load of laundry in or quickly cleaning something. I use that time to think of my next move in business. Some days, I'm running around with a rag while talking on the phone! Some days, no housework gets done at all, other than the basics.
When you have a little toddler, schedules get messed up, and that's okay…that's why you chose to work at home in the first place.
Once your business is running fairly smooth, you will find that the other stuff just falls into place.
You will find that you aren't as productive at a certain time of day, you see a pattern, so then you start to use that time for other things like getting groceries, Dr's appts and so on.
Don't try to be SuperMom/Super Business Woman/ Super Wife/ Super House Maid, or you will burn yourself out.
Just prioritize, do what you can when you can, and enjoy working from home and raising your child.
